12 Images - PAGE 1  2

This is my first collection of panoramas that I have made of the last few years. I have many more and will post them as time permits. Some of these are stitches of as few as 4 photographs and some almost 200. I had to build a special 64-bit computer with 4GB of RAM to be able to manipulate some of the larger multi-Gigabyte files.

Simply put, these are composites of multiple digital photographs that have been arranged like a collage and deformed as to blend with each other seamlessly. Theoretically it should be as simple as that, but reality is never so kind. I’m working on a guide for how these are done. Here I will just name some programs I use and leave you to do the reading: PtGui with a modified pano12.dll. The Autopano* and Smartblend** plugin for PtGui. Nikon Capture Editor, Noise Ninja, Photomatrix Pro for HDR images. And of course lots of Photoshop CS2.

* Autopano the plugin by Alexandre Jenny, NOT the program by the same name!
** Sometimes Enblend for specific purposes, but I prefer Smartblend.
